A good edit begins with a clear objective. Share who will watch the film, what they should understand and where it will appear. Stan and the scoped Hayle production team can shape aerial and ground material into a piece with a deliberate opening, progression and ending. If you already have footage, provide a representative sample and an inventory before transferring a large archive. Resolution, frame rate, audio and file organisation affect the amount of preparation required.
Choose the editing work you actually need
The scope can include selecting material, assembling the story, colour correction, sound balancing, titles and delivery versions. Interviews, animation, complex audio repair or extensive footage review may need more time. The preliminary tool estimates an hours allowance; Stan confirms whether it suits the brief. One clear feedback contact and a consolidated set of comments help keep revisions efficient. Agree the number of rounds and the point at which a revised creative direction becomes additional work.
Keep rights and delivery clear
Confirm permission to use the footage, music, logos and any contributions supplied for the edit. The finished proposal identifies delivery formats and intended usage.
