SHAPE THE SCOPE

What we plan together.

01

An event or one-off filming brief

02

An agreed capture window and location

03

A short edited highlight film as scoped

04

Ground coverage with aerial feasibility assessed separately

Plan around moments that will not repeat

An opening, business event, presentation or one-off shoot has its own rhythm. Share the running order, the people and moments that matter, and how the finished piece will be used. This lets the filming plan prioritise what must be captured instead of trying to record everything equally. A short session can work well for a focused message. More locations, contributors or activities may need a longer window and additional crew.

Coordinate with the organiser

Name the person who can confirm access, filming positions and contributor permissions. Provide information about the venue, crowd movement and any restrictions. Sound requirements, stage lighting and interviews should be considered before the day. Drone filming is never assumed to be possible because an event is outdoors. The type of event, airspace, people and intended operation must be reviewed against current requirements. Ground coverage can be planned where aerial filming is not appropriate.

Decide what needs to be delivered first

A short social highlight and a longer recap serve different purposes. Tell Stan which matters most, whether captions or branding are needed, and when the material will be published. Priority delivery is a request subject to availability, not an automatic promise. The final proposal confirms capture time, output length, revision rounds and permissions. The references below illustrate storytelling styles rather than claiming coverage of an event not shown in the portfolio.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few useful answers.

How do I begin?+

Send the location, your goal and a preferred date through the project form. You can review a preliminary range before providing contact details. Stan confirms the practical scope personally.

Is the online estimate a confirmed booking?+

No. The range is a planning estimate. Your location, access, requirements and deliverables are reviewed before a final proposal and booking.
